Hi, I’m TANIA
ART DIRECTOR, Photographer AND MOTHER.
I was born in Mexico but I’ve been an expat for more than 10 years. I fell in love with a Belgian guy and together we have two beautiful daughters, Pía and Fré.
I’ve always behind the lens of a camera, regardless of whatever I was creating, I would always snap a photo of it. It came so naturally to me that it took me a long time to even consider it a profession.
I’m a neurodivergent creative I struggle with the less creative part of stuff so when I was still an student, my photography teacher told me that I was not taking the class seriously and probably I wasn’t but that really stuck with me so I stopped experimenting with it.
After becoming a mother, I quickly realized how important it was to seize every single moment so I grabbed my dusty camera and found my creative self once again.
Kindred is more than just a photography studio, it was created to become a community where I can share my love for creating as well as the beautiful and unique chaos that is to grow up as an artist, as a parent and as an individual.

My Philosophy
My philosophy is simple: to honor the richness of human experience and the intricacies of our connections. Whether it's the laughter shared between family members, the quiet confidence of an individual rediscovering their self-worth, or the tender embrace of lovers, each moment holds its own significance. In a world that moves relentlessly forward, I find solace in the power of photography to freeze time, allowing us to linger in the beauty of a single moment indefinitely.
